5-15+ depending on vehicle and type of headers.
I guess it depends on how much money you want to spend . You can start out by installing headers, Installing an aftermarket air intake tube and upgrading the exhaust by replacing the h pipe, mufflers and tailpipes. If you want to spend more money you can replace the heads, Intake manifold, and injectors. The sky is the limit, It's a great engine with many aftermarket parts available and an awesome car to work with. A luxury mustang. Hope this helps Mark VII heaven
There are many ways to increase the 455 horsepower. With a cam/valve train swap and working over the heads (or replacing with aftermarket) you can be in the 500+ range. "Pontiac High Performance" is a great source for information on engine modifications.
202 refers to the intake valve size, as in 2.02 inches, upgrading to 202 heads is a very common way to gain horsepower, but usually requires upgrading the intake (better intake manifold and a better carb) and installing headers, to make the most of it. even installing a new highperformance camshaft
stock heads, two. some aftermarket heads are made for 4.
yes, the heads can be replaced with corvette heads. there hasn't been any documented proof of horsepower loss or gains, but i would suspect that that might be a minimal increase in horsepower
The Ford 347 stroker has about 450 horsepower depending on what heads you are running.
Stock 350 horsepower. With all the mods you can achieve 1,250 horsepower. (But you run the risk of blowing heads.)
In theory, yes. But there are also some very good straight plug heads in the aftermarket.
It depends on what vehicle it was orriginally installed into, And the intake, Carb, Heads, The factory had a couple of different power ratings for the motors. Most likely around 200 hP.
Need to know the year.
305 heads work on a 350 engine
It depends on a lot of factors, and would be difficult to answer the question without more specific details. Performance gains could be from 20-100 additional horsepower.
