I just checked my bottle. It says, "Children under 12 years: talk to a doctor." There are a number of factors that determine how much of any one kind of medicine you can take at once. Not just weight, but height, body mass, current health problems, etc. are all taken into consideration when giving medical advice for different medicines (yes, over the counter ones too). For example, someone who is having liver problems or who drink excessively may want to avoid Tylenol or acetaminophen (can cause liver damage).
Some side affects of ibuprofen are: nausea, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal ulceration/bleeding, raised liver enzymes, diarrhea, constipation, epistaxis, headache, dizziness, priapism, rash, salt and fluid retention, and hypertension to name a few.
If you call your child's doctor, they can tell you over the phone how much is safe for him/her. It is better to be safe than sorry.
One more thing..they now have over the counter pain medicine for children in which the dosage is significantly lower than the adult version. You could try that, just don't exceed the recommended dosage on the label.
Take two tablets. If pain persists after about 6-8 hours, take one more.
Can a 100 pound 14 year old have a 800 mg of ibuprofen
500mg of ibuprofen is a relatively safe dosage, even for someone of that weight.
4-5pills or 800-1000mg
Ibuprofen is for pain or fever. It will not reduce the swelling much from an injury, as that is not an inflammatory process.
You can take paracetamol. Ibuprofen should be avoided in pregnancy.

A 29 kilogram dog can take a dosage of 500 mg of Ibuprofen.
You can take ibuprofen and benadryl together but 2400 mg of ibuprofen is 12 x 200mg tablets. That is a lot of ibuprofen that you should not be taking without a doctors supervision
Yes, This is way to much, at the most you should take 2400mg of ibuprofen. *1200mg is the most you should take, while not under a doctor's supervision
