This is an excellent question and I'd say, it would be at least $2 Billion for the castle's built-up area alone (full estate of 250,000 acres would be a MINIMUM of $5 Billion for land excluding construction). That $2 billion estimate for built-up area alone takes into account improvements in technology that reduce building cost while assuming that those priceless collector's items of antiques and art would actually be up for purchase today. What it cannot really account for is cost of changes to design i.e. Hearst apparently kept altering things to his taste that would result in the need to re-construct massive sections completely and I'm not sure how cheap or easy this would be today.
Frankly, that's a sort of "priceless" construction (an authentic modern day castle) and that's why it's a museum today.
