It depends on what year you're writing the question! It's far better to give the coin's exact date - a nickel that's 100 years old in 2010 will be 101 years old in 2011, so the question won't be valid anymore!
Use the large box at the top of the page to enter the question What is the value of a <date> US nickel?, where <date> is the date on your coin. In general nickels from the period 1900 to 1911 are worth about $2-3 in worn condition but using the question box will take you to a more exact answer.
$100 - $160
it is worth 100. dollars
WHAT YEARS be more specific..
well honestly, i could tell you you could get $100 for it. But in truth its only worth however much someone is interested in paying for it. Right now my not be the best time to sell it with the economy being the way it is.
depends on year, mint, and condition. could be 50cents or a couple of million! Most 100 year old pennies are about 15 cents and you can expect to get 5 cents from a coin dealer.
$100 - $160
100-1000 usd
it is worth 100. dollars
Brobably nothing.
Less than 100 to over 1000 depending on specifics.
it is worth nothing but the personal value hope it helped :)
100-1000 USD
1,000$
The 1968 dollar is 100% nickel. 1967 was the last year that the canada used silver for their coins.
One nickel weighs 5 grams. There are 20 nickels in $1 so a dollar's worth of nickels weighs 5*20 = 100 gm. Then, $100 weighs 100 * 100 = 10000 gm, or 10 kg.
I would estimate its value to be $100 to $150, but you would need to get it certified by PCGS, NGC, or ANACS.
It all depends on which company made it and what condition it is in.
