There are many cases that the watch can be in, but most 15 jewel pocket watches have minimal value over the bullion value of the case. I have sold the movement w/o a case for 15-20 dollars in my store. There are some watches, 15 jewel, that are rarer. My advice would be go to your library and look for the style and name of your particular Elgin.
