The value of a 1785 Connecticut cent is detemined as most coins by the grade. It may vary from 20 dollars in poor condition to a few hundred in extra fine condition . Also with early United States Colonial coins different minting dies were used so you can have several varieties of coins for the same year each with a different value depending on how long the die was used before it broke or wore out. In a nut shell it can be worth very little to several hundred depending on grade and variety. Also thereare many copies of Colonial coins that have been made over the years these are worthless to most coin collectors. with out seeing the coin it is hard to give a exact value. bradcanaw@Yahoo.com
