Assuming the coin is circulated, the 1889 issue is a higher mintage coin. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins of this type have seen heavy use and show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $8.00-$30.00, better grade are $35.00-$60.00 and coins showing almost no wear run from $80.00-$125.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelry or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.

Please check your coin again. Liberty head nickels were struck from 1883 to 1912. A 2007 nickel would be a familiar Jefferson nickel, and it's only worth face value.
Sorry no Liberty Head nickels in 1812. The first US nickel was struck in 1866 and the first Liberty Head was in 1883, so look at the coin again and post new question.

A 1899 Liberty Head nickel is worth between $2.25 and $130.00 depending on its grade. Taking it to a coin shop may give you a better idea of its grade.
A heavily worn Liberty Head Nickel is worth maybe $1 unless it is one of the more scarce coins of the series, I would suggest you take it to a coin shop and let them look at it just to be sure.
