July 25, 2009 The 1902 Morgan Dollar was produced at 3 US Mint facilities; Philadelphia, New Orleans and San Francisco. To determine which coin you have, the mint mark is located on the reverse [tails] side the coin just above the leters "DO" in the word "DOLLAR". A letter "O" indicates the coin was minted at New Orleans. A letter "S" indicates the coin was minted at San Fransisco. If there is no letter, that indicates the coin was minted at Philadelphia and is represented in this price estimate as "1902-P". The values for this coin in the most common grades can be seen in the chart below. You are holding a Morgan Dollar. You could expect to get around $17 for this coin in typical circulated condition. Of course though, the better the condition, the more you can expect to get for it.
as much as you can get for it.
No such coin exists
If it has "copy" on it, then is not a real dollar.
$17.00-$26.00 and it's a Morgan Dollar NOT a E PLURIBUS UNUM dollar
Sorry no 1 ounce silver coins were struck in 1902 only Morgan dollar coins were struck in that year.
Please look at the coin again. No 1902 Morgan dollar can have a Carson City mintmark, the last one was 1893. Post new question.
