US or British? Post new question.
The real answer is...Its not a 1906 Liberty dollar. Its a 1986 commemorative dollar with the 8 altered. The US did not make a liberty dollar in 1906. A "s" mint mark is a circulated coin and the "p" is collectors coin. Sorry to burst your bubble!
Between $1.90 and $23, depending on condition. Next time, if you include more information (the coin's approximate condition, if it is circulated or not, etc.) I can give you a more precise value.
No such coin as a "Penny Dollar" post new question.
A US "penny" is actually a 1 cent coin, worth 1/100 of a dollar. A British penny (the coin's official name) is worth 1/100 of a pound sterling.
It depends on which coin it is. Half Penny, penny, threepence, shilling, sixpence...they all have different values.
Sorry, no US dollar coins dated 1906 were struck.
The value of a 1875 penny will vary depending on the condition of the coin. On average, the coin in good condition is worth an estimated $13 dollars.
The US coin looks very much like a modern US penny
The 1906 Indian Head cent is a common coin. Average coins have values of $1.00-$3.00 depending on the grade.
Check that coin again, because what you're describing doesn't actually exist. There were no silver dollars minted that year, and the Walking Liberty design (on the half dollar) wasn't introduced for another decade.
Please post a new question with the coin's date and country of issue. If there's no country on it, a one penny coin is most likely from Great Britain.
There were no dollar coins produced in the United States in 1906. Look at the coin again and post new question.
