The rifle is blueish in color, wooden handle, 500 shots and still fires great, Its in excellent condition.
It sounds like you have a Variation 4 model B 500 Shot (Not a Red Ryder they started in 1940 ) the Model B had a Blue finish and wood stock .it was made between 1910-23. in Excellent condition it would be worth around $245 - $300.
