1921 is an extremely common date for Morgans, so the value is mainly for its silver content. At present, it's worth about $24. You might be able to get a little more for it being that it's a '21-S.
as much as you can get for it.

If it has "copy" on it, then is not a real dollar.
$17.00-$26.00 and it's a Morgan Dollar NOT a E PLURIBUS UNUM dollar
Peace dollars were minted from 1921 to 1935. A dollar dated 1898 would be called a Morgan dollar, after its designer George Morgan.
There were two varieties issued that year. The most common one used the previous Morgan design until the new Peace design became available. Assuming you have a Morgan dollar, regardless of mint mark or condition it's worth roughly $12 to $14 at retail. On the off chance you have a Peace dollar (see the reverse side) its value would be much higher, between $90 and $130 depending on condition.

The first year of issue for a Morgan dollar was 1878 please look at the coin again.
