A 1942 Canadian half penny is worth $22000 - $50000.Canada does not make half cents. Also, their coins all have the word CANADA on them, so I'm betting you have a British half penny
1963 COPPER penny is worth half a billion dollars.
Assuming it is a British half penny, it is worth about 25-50 cents in circulated condition and about $5 if uncirculated.
Presuming that you are referring to a British Half Penny, it would be worth less than a US dollar in circulated condition, about US$5.00 in uncirculated condition and perhaps twice that in proof condition. There were also about four Matte Proof examples produced (for purposes of photography) - they are probably worth about US$1,000 each.
half a penny.
it's worth the same as the 1973 and 2010 ( Nothing ) well to make a penny cost about 2c. so your penny is worth about .02. I am buying pennies for half a penny
Less than half of a present day penny.
It is a British Penny and a US coin cut in half and stuck to each other. It has no value.
You can find a 1898 half penny for sale online for $8 or less. This is for one from Great Britain.
Your question is a bit confusing because a half-penny and a crown are two very different coins. In the old coinage system England used before 1968, a pound sterling contained 240 pence, so a half-penny was worth 1/480 of a pound. On the other hand, a crown was worth a quarter of a pound, or 60 pence - 120 times as much. Assuming you have a half-penny because it was a far more common coin, it would retail for less than a dollar in average condition.
