If by "circulation code" you mean mint mark, then it's worth between 5 and 50 cents depending on condition.
Depending on condition, a circulated 1942 wheat penny is worth about $.20-$.40, it is worth more if it is uncirculated and about double the price if it has an "S" mintmark.
In average condition not alot maybe a buck if it looks as if it were almost new or uncirculated maybe about 5$
1942 is not a rare date for wheat cents. In circulated condition, it's worth about 2 cents. A nice uncirculated one is worth about 50 cents. In circulated condition, it's worth about 3 cents. A nice uncirculated one is worth about 50 cents.
The value depends on the percentage of the off-strike. For a 1942 wheat penny the value will probably be around $5-$10 dollars.
Uh, the person whose head is on the front of the coin is Abraham Lincoln, not Wheat. There are 2 wheat ears (just ears, not heads, LOL!) on the reverse side of the coin. In any case, if your coin is worn from circulation it would retail for roughly a dime at most.
A 1942 wheat penny is worth 2 cents for the copper.
o.35$-4$
no not true. At the most they are worth $3.

All 1942 pennies are copper (it is the 1943 that is steel). It is a common date worth about 3 cents in average circulated condition and up to a few bucks if uncirculated.
No such thing. Steel cents were produced in 1943, not '42.
All Lincoln Wheat penny's from 1909 to 1942 were made from Bronze .950 copper and .050 Tin and Zinc.
