no Actually, YES, there are. I have 3 of them. They are all 1955 P's. I'll be sending them to PCGS, this week and will let you know if they will recognize it as a variety. They also have some die cracks and planchet peeling.

25.00 ?
If it's an ordinary 1955 cent it's worth anywhere from a nickel to 20¢ depending on condition. 1955-S pennies may be worth a few cents more but aren't considered to be particularly rare. Some coins were struck from an improperly prepared die and have a very visible double image on the front. These can be worth about $900-1000. If it clearly shows a doubled date (i.e. it looks as if the "1955" is struck twice, slightly shifted) you have a much rarer coin and should have it examined by a professional numismatist.
The key to valuation is an accurate assessment of the condition of the coin. Some of the "best" double die cents from 1955 can currently go for as much as $1200 to $1300 depending on the all-important condition.
A 1955 double stamped penny in very good condition could be worth around $1 to $3, depending on the specifics of the coin and the current market demand. If the coin is in a case or holder, it may have additional value to collectors who appreciate coins being preserved in such a way.

No, most 1955 cents are not that valuable. There were only a few that were double-struck*. You can see a nice picture of one by using the link provided. (*) As you have noted from other postings, coins are said to be minted or struck, not "stamped". I don't know why, it's just what's done.
