You have a coin from Switzerland (The Helvetian Confederation, to the Swiss). Anything that new is almost certainly only worth face value. You didn't state the coin's denomination - an important piece of information - but exchange rates in early 2010 have been in the range of CHF 1 = US$ 0.90
20 Swiss francs converts to about $21.50 in US dollars.
Silver
The full inscription is Confoederatio Helvetica, which is Latin for "Confederation of Switzerland". A 1993 date means the coin is made of copper-nickel, not silver, so if it's been in circulation it's not worth anything extra. As of mid-2012 it would be worth about US$2 in exchange.

Switzerland ("Confoedetaio Helvetica" is latin for "Swiss Confederation") did not produce a 5 Franc coin in 1919. It did produce a 5 Rappen coin (about the size of a dime) which is valued at about US$0.50 in Very Fine Condition, US$2.50 in Extremely Fine and US$15.00 in Uncirculated. It also produced a 5 Franc coin in 1916 which is about the size of a US silver dollar and valued at between US$500 and US$2,250, depending on condition.
A 1912 is worth lots more than a 1935 : until 1928 they weighed 25 grams, then they were made smaller - 15 grams. Both are 0.835 purity (83.5% silver) - so the old ones contain 0.7234 troy ounces of silver; newer ones, only 0.4027 oz silver. To find out how much 1 ounce of silver is worth right now,
