The answer to your question varies because the price of gold varies on a day-to-day basis.
The gold price is quoted in Troy Ounces. As of June 30 2010, the price is $1240. This is for Troy Ounce. There are 31.1035 grams in a Troy Ounce so to calculate for 1 gram you do this calculation.
1240 (Price In Troy Ounces) / 31.1035 grams = $39.86 for 1 gram of 24 karat gold
And for 20grams:
$39.86 * 20 = $797
Note that this is for pure 24 karat gold. Luckily, Credit Suisse gold bars are 24 karat gold so the calculation is still valid. (If it was 12 karat gold for example, it would only contain half a gram of actual gold and be worth only half as much).
