Nothing probably 7$ at a gas station
It depends on its weight.
The prices of a Pamp Suisse Gold bar will vary depending on the amount of gold that you are purchasing. As an example, one gram is currently $63.69 but a one ounce gold bar is priced at $1,611.85.
The answer to your question varies because the price of gold varies on a day-to-day basis. The gold price is quoted in Troy Ounces. As of June 30 2010, the price is $1240. This is for Troy Ounce. There are 31.1035 grams in a Troy Ounce so to calculate for 1 gram you do this calculation. 1240 (Price In Troy Ounces) / 31.1035 grams = $39.86 for 1 gram of 24 karat gold Note that this is for pure 24 karat gold. Luckily, Credit Suisse gold bars are 24 karat gold so the calculation is still valid. (If it was 12 karat gold for example, it would only contain half a gram of actual gold and be worth only half as much).

Gold is going for 2,000-an-ounce. So if you find out the pure gold weight you will know how much you are looking at. I hope this helps.

In fact, pyrite is heavier than gold. I'm not sure exactly, but I believe it is anywhere from 5% to 20% heavier than gold of the same volume.
Pd in the periodic table is Palladium, not gold or silver. It is an alternative to platinum and looks very similar to it, but is much lighter.
