∙ 15y agoYou can find what the so-called "spot" price is by Googling the words SPOT PRICE GOLD. The rate changes every day so any specific value posted here would be out of date in 24 hours.
However the spot price is only loosely connected to the market price. You would probably have to pay about 5 or 10 percent more and could only sell for that same amount less than the spot price, because dealer who buys or sells has to make a profit on the transaction.
