Silver bullion comes in many forms, bars and rounds that have Santa on then to coins from different countries backed by there currency. Many investers look for the latter for the idea of the secondary value if silver ever crashed. With that said condition is king along with availability and demand. Silver spot price per ounce is the starting point for value then you add going rate for that coins premium usually a couple dolars above silvers price for the demand, condition, and the purity that country refined the coin to, I.E..999 or .9999 percent pure. I am not sure but unless the coin is untouched and "proof", it is just a few dollars above silvers price for the amount of silver in the coin. It spears to be about a half ounce by looking but that isn't hard to find out. Hope that helps.

Mexico uses the "$" sign to indicate pesos rather than dollars, which tends to mislead Americans and Canadians who are used to dollar-denominated currencies.

Your bill's value depends a lot on its date. If it's dated 1993 or later, it's a modern bill whose value is based on the current exchange rate of US dollars to Mexican pesos. Exchange rates change every day so any specific answer posted here becomes out of date almost immediately. While it's not Answers.com policy to say "use the internet", that's the best approach in this case. You can check a site such as www . xe.com, CNNMoney, etc. for the latest conversion factors.

If it's older, you should have it checked by a dealer or person who collects Mexican currency. Mexico revalued the peso in the early 1990s by lopping three zeros off the old peso, meaning an older bill that's not a collectible could be worth only 1/1000 as much as a more recent one of the "same" denomination.

Nothing. Such bill is not recognized as legal tender anymore. It could have some numismatic value, though.
