one gallon is equal to 4qt and a 1qt equal to 32oz
The radiator itself probably holds a half gallon. The car as a whole would hold about 2 gallons.
One gallon of antifreeze and 1 gallon of distilled water mixed together 50/50 will be enough to fill the system.
No
1 gallon
The radiator alone, aprox one gallon. The complete cooling system, aprox 15 qts.
One gallon and antifreeze and one gallon of water are needed to make coolant. They are then mixed together in a large bucket and then pour into your vehicles radiator.
One gallon of antifreeze mixed with half water
Enough to create a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water. This usually requires a gallon of antifreeze. You can purchase the 50/50 mix, ready to use. Pour it in the radiator.
You want to use a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze, but use the manufacture recommended antifreeze, it comes straight anti freeze in which case you would mix a gallon of antifreeze to a gallon of water or you can buy a pre mixed container of antifreeze if your just trying to top off
To change the antifreeze on a 2003 Alero once the car cools remove that radiator pressure cap. Pour in a gallon of pre mixed coolant.
1 gallon of antifreeze mixed 50/50 with 1 gallon of distilled water will be enough to fill the system.
The only thing you will need is the antifreeze and water which the impala holds a total of 10 quarts but i would say just over a gallon would be all you need because you wont be able to drain it all and you can get a gallon of antifreeze for $10 so maybe a max of $20
