about $10-$25
You can't trade between game boy games on a DS.
you need to games of any pokemon game to trade
Well that really depends on how much they are willing to give you for the two games (based on popularity) and the DSL. It also depends where you trade them in and on how much the DSi currently costs. There's no way of finding out how much they will give you for the games unless you ask them.
You can trade between those two games, but if you want Pokemon in the previous games, its like migrating. You can't migrate Pokemon from your Gameboy games! Plus, you have to defeat the game before you can trade over with different games.

You have to buy two games and two Game Boys and a link cable and trade in between the games
You take a game or games in and they give you a trade in value, then you can select a game or two from there total inventory and pay the difference. What game you take in does not effect what console game you leave with a game for and you will likely always have to pay when bringing in a game to trade for a different game
You will need two DS systems and two games. First start your first DS then start your second. On the second game choose one of the two starters you do not have then trade it to your first game. Start a new game on the second and choose the other starter you do not have and trade it to your first.
Yes. Various emulators support emulating linking between two consoles. VBALink and NO$GBA support linking Game Boy Advance games, and BGB and TGB support linking Game Boy / Game Boy Color games.
you can't unless you have two games and two game boys with a link cable. If you have those you can start a game get the Pokemon trade it to the other and start over again.
It depends on what game. In diamond/pearl, you don't need any. In GB games, I'm pretty sure you only need one, but maybe two depending on the game and if the person you wnat to trade with has the game as well.
Start a new game on two games. Then start each game on a different Pokemon. then trade one to the other and restart the game with a different Pokemon and repeat the process.
