Lane and have pics
under the table on the wood or on the box
18August 1972 in factory 4 - you read the date backwards - if it has 7 digits like yours then the first number ( or last...depending on which way you look at it!) is the factory that produced it. I'm sorry I don't want to improve on your answer. I was hoping you would be able to help me find the value of this Lane octagonal table. I have two. I found them, someone was throwing them away. Anyway, this is the serial number 2963110. I also have a style number 1082-53
I have pool table but can't find out any information on the style, brand, or anything else. I found a partial tag for it with the model #6029. any help would be appreciated!
You go to a serial number table for that particular model and look it up.

There are a number of different styles of table service. Some of those styles include, American plated service, French service, Russian service, and family style.
If you have a common shotgun made before 1968, there probably is no serial number to look up. If the serial number is not on the receiver some where; i.e., water table, side, bottom, somewhere; then it doesn't have one & that is as far as you can take the serial number of a shotgun made before 1968.
Go to the Ruger website, select customer service, historical information, handguns, your model, and check the serial number table.
PUT <style> .a {flip the page} table table {direction:rtl;} table table table {direction:ltr;} </style> THEN IT WILL FLIP
The serial is usually found on the right side of the water table, on the barrel flats, and on the forend iron.
