The 4 -cent space needle stamp can still be used for 4 cents postage is it's mint.
Scott retail value is 20 cents, mint or used. You could probably get one from a collector friend for nothing; it is still easy to find.
well, it didnt occur in 1964. because there was no 1964 Seattle worlds fair. there was however a Worlds FAir in Seattle in 1962.
It was designed for a world fair in seattle, yes.
Realistically, an unused copy is barely worth 4 cents. A used copy is worth virtually nothing.
The Space Needle was built as an attraction for the Seattle Worlds Fair of 1962.
New York? Seattle was earlier, maybe 1962?
Seattle, WashingtonBetween April 21 and October 21, 1962 on the grounds of what is now Seattle Center.
I bought one in very good condition, in a plastic protective case, from a coin dealer at a show south of Seattle. It cost $3.50.
about 200 to 4000 dollars
The first Worlds Fair was in 1851 in LONDON, and Colorado gained statehood in 1876 so...........
It's not worth much. I sold one at a coin shop, got 10 cents for it. They'll probably sell it for a dollar.
United States Scott #1196. You can purchase a used copy for 15 cents. A mint, or unused, copy would be 45 cents.
