The ticket itself is $70, but there are additional fees. The first related link below is the Los Angeles Superior Court traffic fee web page. On that page, click on the "Misdemeanor and Infraction Bail Schedule" and scroll down to page 61 for the speed violations chart - 16 to 25 miles over limit is $70. But the "+P" means there are additional penalties: $28 for every $10 of the speed violation, another $7 for the county, another $5 for the court, etc.

These are explained on page 2 of that same document, but they're easier to see if you click on the "Traffic Fee Table", right under the "Misdemeanor and Infraction Bail Schedule." You'll have to add up which fees apply to you. I found this info at the second related link, which has more info about LA County Superior Court.
