probably now millions of dollars it depends if the gold piece was famous
One cent coins were never made of gold.
As a copy, it's not worth much of anything.
In 1860 we were on the gold standard. Gold at that time was worth a little over $20 an ounce (See Double Eagle Coin.) On January 28, 2010, 1 ounce of gold cost $1085.40. Thus 1000/20x1085.40= Today the gold in the coins would be worth a bit under $54,270.
24kgp means that the piece is 24 karat gold plated. A gold plated piece is worth much less than a piece that is 24 karat gold.
it was worth $100m
It depends solely on the piece- 800 could be 800/1000 silver or 800/1000 gold- If the piece is silver, it's likely an older European piece.. If the piece is gold it's likely French 19k gold (EXTREMELY uncommon, but still can be found today.)
it is worth 70.00

It is up to the courts to decide for there is a lot of fraud or fraudulent people or a bank, but then if you are happy with their answer, then back to the courts? A $100.00 gold piece is a hundred dollars, but the gold makes it $1,500? Or Elvis lucky dollar bill worth how much?
If you go to kitco.com and see that gold is at $1000 a troy oz, Get a calculator and divide $1000 by 31.1035 (*how many grams there are in a troy ounce) It will show that gold nuggets weighing 2 gms. would be worth $32.15x2=$64.30 Right now they are worth: $906.10 divided by 31.1035 = $29.13x2 =$58.26
