I have made 500m+ at bandos and i started out wearing a saradomin body (blessed dragonhide), zamorak arrow, bandos tassets (any melee barrows legs work too!), fire cape, verac's helm or neitiznot helm, culinaromancer's gloves 10, dragon boots, and an abbysal whip or bandos godsword. Now i am using full torva and chaotic weapons, with a yak, and turmoil. Don't worry, you'll get there.
