it depends on the hamster
Your hamster doesn't need to go in the ball everyday , If your hamster has an exercise wheel then you can put them in the ball when you want to. I have 2 hamsters and they both have hamster balls and i only put them in it 3 times a week at the most :)
it cost to about $500-$2000 :( i wish it was cheaper its looiks like fun
A hamster wheel is used in the cage and is powered by the hamster its self. A hamster ball is what you put the hamster in to exercise when you are cleaning the cage. A hamster ball is heavier so would probably go a bit slower but both are actually powered by the hamster its self so it depends on how fast it goes.
Yes, that way your hamster can go out of its cage but at the same time be safe. Don't ever leave your hamster inside the ball without supersivion.

Type Moshlingzoo1 in the Mo-pod codes box. Then log-in. When you get to your room go to your chest. There on the first box is a Hamster Ball!
(i hope you are talking about a hamster) if your hamster is fat all you have to do is get a ball that is big enough for you little pet. (go to petstore for a hamster ball) put you hamster in the ball and let them run around on flat floor for about 15 min. everyday as well as cutting down on their food just a little bit. hope this helps (:
Nope. I have a dwarf hamster and he has a medium sized ball but its a little to heavy for his weak little body to move. I recomend the smalled ball you can get that way they can go faster and eaiser! Good luck!
I'd say definitely not. There are different species of hamster & Syrian's a re highly territorial & would attack another hamster placed in the same ball (after age 8-10 weeks). The other species of hamster are all of the 'dwarf' variety. Although more sociable I'd suggest that if the hamsters were trying to go in different directions it would be possible for them to get hurt when the ball moves.
Hamster balls are safe but you just want to make sure that your hamster doesn't go down any stairs or get stuck behind anything. Your hamster can only be in a hamster ball for about 10-20 minutes otherwise your hamster may get hungry or thirsty just like you if play sports. You need a brake for water don't you? Well that's the same thing with hamsters. :) yes perfectly safe. they love the freedom to explore, but you might not get them out of the ball again as they love it too much Make sure you have something Blocking Stairways and Places where he can get stuck (ie; under beds, Laundry rooms, Closets,)
