You are referring to a 100 Lei coin from Romania. It was produced for circulation in 1991-1996, and is (depending on the date) worth around US$1.00 to $3.00 in Extremely Fine condition and US$3.00 to $9.00 in Uncirculated condition. Proof examples were also produced in 2000 (and possibly later) and would sell for perhaps US$7.50.

I have a 1982 proof set that has a 500 lei gold coin and 100 lei silver coin. It is a very rare set. The last sale of this set was reported in 2005. It was sold for $2000.00 dollars. There are no 1982 proof sets with 200 lei gold coins.however ther are a few sets that have 500 lei proof gold coin and 100 lei silver coin. I think it is a missnomer to sai that the set has 200 lei gold proof coin. I suggest you go to Google and type ROMANIAN PROOF GOLD COINS. THERE IS A SITE THAT EXPLAINS THE ORIGIN OF THE 1982 AND 1983 PROOF COINS ,that were minted by Francklin mint for Romanian government. I search this coins, because I am from Romania. But at fair price! russtefan@gmail.com
