I have read that these bars are "ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS" I have my doubts though because even though they are not solid there is still some value there in my opinion. I would guess that this quote came from someone who deals in only solid Gold/Silver. Im no expert so anyone whos knows more please comment because I would like too know myself.

∙ 10y agoNot much at all. The key is the word "clad" which is basically a fancy way of saying plated. Since gold plating adds no value, these bars are usually worthless because the metal underneath is usually something nearly worthless such as lead, steel or zinc. So your bar is worth maybe a couple of cents at most, or maybe a dollar or two if it has a neat design on it.
