Actually ITT Tech is regionally accredited now, I went there to get my Associates and my husband was transferred (military wife :) before I was able to finish and my credits were easily transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University where I am about to finish up my Bachelor's degree and continue with my Masters. So I'm not sure where you got your information, but mine transferred just fine :) ITT Tech does not have a regional accreditation, and there is much controvercy about the schools practices. If you were to transfer to another regionally accredited college or university in the future for a higher level degree, your credits may not be accepted by the receiving institution.
