The postal service is an oligopoly, not an monopoly. As far as I know, since I work there, we CANNOT make a profit at the postal service and have not been subsidized by tax dollars since the 80's.
What's ruined the postal service is the "meltdown" (2004-2008), a resultant "bad" global economy caused by the elite, ( the bilderbergs), and other elitist groups trying to take over a service that is a RIGHT of the American People. PRIVATIZATION is their goal without giving you what you deserve, UNIVERSAL SERVICE at uniform rates.
We are SUBSIDIZING large mailing houses with taxpayer dollars, WE at the Postal Service are losing money because of this insanity!
CORPORATIONS are the true problem that lobby government officials and effectively take away OUR rights by not allowing the CONSENT of the governed.
Letter cost - $0.44 first oz., $0.17 each additional ounce......up to 3 and 1/2 ounces.
Is that what you were asking?
-40,000,000
How do you become a contractor for the US postal service?
Yes. We are an American territory and American citizens. We do have the US Postal Service and the postal rates are the same as they are in the continental US.
The Postal Service, like the US Government, is self-insuring.
There was no US Postal Service in 1850.
The United States Postal Service is abbreviated USPS.
I am wondering what the rates for the US postal service are, where can I find a US postal rate chart?
US Postal Service
It depends on the weight of the letter/package.
"The US Postal Service currently employs thousands of men and women as letter carriers." You would use "US Postal Service" as if it were the name of a company, and mail carriers, post office clerks, etc. are employees of that company. For all intents and purposes, you can think of the US Postal Service as being like a company that is owned by the US government.
