i am currently having that issue with my 2000 Nissan Sentra. its at the dealership right now and they say that to replace the part, keys, and reprogramming everything will cost me about $900. im looking for alternatives now.
The immobilizer is the system that prevents your car from being stolen by including a computer chip in the ignition key. The car will start without this chip but will cease running in a few seconds. Your Subaru dealer is the only one I know of that has equipment to reprogram this system. If it was easily reset there wouldn't be much value to it.
Its £250,00000 Decent price
a donut baby!
This can be found on the frame of the vehicle inside the driver's door. GVWR = 5200 pounds.
The short answer is - you don't!! wouldn't be much of an immobilizer if it were easy to bypass. You need to either fix the fault which is causing the problem, OR send the engine ECU off to a specialist who can reprogram it to disable the immobilizer
I would not recommend performing ANY work on an airbag system in a vehicle unless you are properly trained. There is too much danger of the airbag going off accidentally.
The 1996 Nissan Maxima air conditioning system has a capacity of 5.4 pounds of Freon. A recharge kit will come with a gauge that will tell you when the system is full.
To track a commercial vehicle, you must have a vehicle tracking system, much like a GPS. With one of these systems, it is easy to use and track the commercial vehicle.
It costs about $100 or $300 to install a vehicle tracking system. Also, you can get it done at www.dallasmobilec.com or even better, by yourself.
My dealer tells me it will be about $1555. After searching the web, this seems to be a common issue with this vehicle.

Load specs for your vehicle should be in the glove compartment on a sticker, or in the door gap when you open the door.
