That depends on the mint mark, purity, condition, rarity, age and size of the coin.
You have to inspect your coin carefully. If it has a P or D mint mark, it's made of copper-nickel, not silver and is only worth 25¢. If it has an S mint mark and a copper-colored edge it's a copper-nickel proof coin worth maybe $2 to $10 depending on its quality. If it's in a holder labelled "Prestige Proof", then it IS a 90% silver coin. These were made for collectors and sell for $3 to $12 depending on quality and which state is depicted.

The coin (assuming it is a US coin) is only worth 1 cent. Either the coin was chemically treated to make it look gold or it was gold plated. Either way, it is not worth any more than one cent.
Go find a coin dealer. That's unusual.
Yes, and no depending on the state of the coin. (clean, shiny, polished)
Any golden color is just due to the toning of the outer copper plating. It doesn't add any value to the coin. It is just worth one cent.
Exactly the value of the copper in the coin. No more. The current price of copper is about $3.50 pound. So your coin just has sentimental value.
yes the Lexington concord golden coin is worth a lot today, especially with the rise of gold and the gold prices.
The U.S.Mint has never issued a copper dollar.
Well, the coin should be made out of brass and should appear "golden" and not copper. But it really depends on the year, but for the most part assuming it is an uncirculated proof, I'd say it would be worth in the neighborhood of $3-5 or so.
Nothing LOL
Please include the denomination, date, mintmark(if there is one) and condition for your answer. A copper penny however is worth about 2.5 cents though.
