It depends on who you sell it to. Check around, bulk junk silver is about 18 X's face value.
Circulated coins are 1 or 2 dollars uncirculated coins about 8 dollars
Sorry no US dollar coins dated 1964
The 1977 Eisenhower dollar is NOT silver, the last 40% silver collectors coins of the series were the bicentennial coins. None of the Eisenhower dollars struck for general circulation have any silver or are worth more that face value.
The Eisenhower dollars from 1971-1978 struck for an taken from circulation have no silver and only have face value. Proof and special collectors coins sold from the Philadelphia Mint are the only coins of this series that are above face value.
1974-1978 are Eisenhower dollars. The 1979-1980 are Susan B. Anthony dollars. None of the coins are worth more than face value UNLESS they are proof or high grade Mint State coins. The SBA coins were never struck in silver, some of the "Ike's" were struck in 40% silver in 1974 and for the bicentennial (1776-1976) but these coins have "S" mintmarks and were never released into circulation.
Going purely by the melt value at current silver prices, dimes minted before 1965 are worth $2, quarters are $5, half dollars are $10, and silver dollars are $21. For more detailed values, post new questions asking about specific coins.
Well, hence their name, they are worth a dollar and are coins that are silver. LOL

These are not made by any US mint, and have no numismatic value. If the coins are silver and not silver plated, the value would be for the silver in the coins.
Current value is about $29.00 dollars.

On June 22, 2009 the value of silver per ounce was $13.64 US Dollars.
Yep, the value will lower. Some silver dollars are worth only there silver content so it will not affect the value those as much as rare coins. I suggest never attempt cleaning a coin.
