How many times daily should angelfish eat?

Normal Tropical flakes are OK for Angelfish but they should also get a supplement of live food each week if possible. Good live foods are Daphnia, Whiteworms, Brine shrimp, Tubifex worms etc etc. Your pet shop should stock at least some live foods.

Fully grown Angelfish should be fed morning and evening as much as they will eat in 15 minutes. Uneaten food must be removed immediately. Young Angels should be fed as often as they will eat. (at least every 4 hours) They should have their tummies kept full if possible so that they will grow rapidly. Having evolved in the Amazon, perfect water quality is absolutely essential for Angelfish so the basic rules apply. The basic rules of fishkeeping are. :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water.(1 adult pair of Angelfish needs a 35 gallon tank) :- Every tank must have a permanently running filter. :- Every tank must have at least 50% of its water replaced every week. Angelfish are tropical and should be kept at around 78F to 85F. Stick to the above rules and your fish stand a chance of survival. Fail to look after the fishes water as above and I can guarantee that your fish will be constantly getting sick and will live a much shorter life than it should.
