If your gasket has blown and overheating occured then skimming will almost certainly be needed. Send it for testing and skimming better to be safe than sorry.
The 1994 Buick Century 4 cylinder head gasket will have to be removed and replaced. The head has to be removed, along with anything that is physically in the way of removal, before the head gasket can be removed.
b cos the injector is very long one and it always gets glued in the cylinder head design fault (material specs ) in merc they have a tube insert in which injector is inserted and insert will be on the aluminium head
After the cylinder head or block have been skimmed. For example. An engine has overheated and the cylinder head has been warped. The head is removed and milled so that the mating surface is flat again. The thickness of the oversized gasket will depend on the amount of material removed. If a thicker gasket wasn't used, the compression ratio may be raised or the pistons may come into contact with the valves

Skimming is another term for plaining or machining. The head is placed in a milling machine that cuts a slight amount off the part of the head that makes contact with the engine block. This will increase the compression ratio of the engine and may require that you start using premium high octane fuel. This will increase the horsepower of the engine slightly. This process if sometimes used to straighten a head that has been warped due to overheating.
It's skimming - basically if a cylinder head warps due to heat/pressure it's usually a last-ditch attempt to try to revive an engine with a blown head gasket by skimming a few microns off and hoping that by doing that the new exposed metal doesn't have the imperfection. It takes some very special machinery to do it though as we are talking thousandths of an inch.

Cast iron or aluminum are the most common materials used.
buy a haynes manual mate. big job. total engine overhaul. head skimming. head gasket kit with new bolts etc. etc. if car is still running try kalimex to seal the gasket
Yes, You have to remove the intake to get the heads off.
The materials vary, but some of the better gaskets are composed of kevlar and metal.
