b cos the injector is very long one and it always gets glued in the cylinder head
design fault (material specs ) in merc they have a tube insert in which injector is inserted and insert will be on the aluminium head
A four banger engine has four fuel injectors and four spark plugs.
There are 6 fuel injectors, one per cylinder. They are located on the top of the engine.
( 6 ) one per engine cylinder
Need to know what year your truck is and if it's a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine.
It depends on the engine. Most of your 2010 engines have computer-controlled injectors. Older engines use "unit injectors" where a camshaft determines when to fire fuel into the cylinder.
Either a single injector in the inlet manifold or, more normally, in the cylinder head(s), one per cylinder.
IF it is a V8 engine, it will have 8 injectors. If it is a V6 engine it will have 6 injectors.Engines have 1 injector for each cylinder.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE if the fuel injector is restricted so that the proper air - fuel mixture is not getting to an engine cylinder , that an engine cylinder misfire can occur ( that is only one of the causes of an engine cylinder misfire )
No, the injectors are rated differently, you would be dumping fuel into the engine. The computer and injectors wouldn't match up.
If the engine is a 2 cylinder or if it is an earlier model with throttle body injection.
The fuel injectors are located over each cylinder of the engine block.
it gets hot, and ignites the diesel fuel that is injected by the fuel injectors.
