When changing the brake rotors on a 1990 Toyota 4runner the vehicle must be safely raised and propped up. The calipers must be loosen and rotors will be able to be removed. The process must be repeated for all four wheels.
Brake rotors are subject to a lot of heat and wear. After a period of time, they warp and have to be "turned". turning the rotors actually makes them thinner so they won't last as long as they did. Everytime they are turned, the thinner they get. There is a point where they are too thin to safely use. That point is stamped on the rotors and it is illegal for someone to turn past them that point. Rotors are not expensive and your brakes are the most important part of your car. I wouldn't skimp on my brakes.

the question is presented wrong i believe you want too know how much you can turn the crank shaft journals safely! the answer to that question is i personally would rather turn them only .10 thousandths but they can be turned too .30thousanths safely Answer The material can be removed in .010" increments with the most being a recommended .030" total removed.
The only time an impaled object can be safely removed is if it's stuck in the cheek. The wound must then be immediately treated and wrapped to slow the bleeding.
obviously not if the truck is in the right turning lane and turning right you should keep your distance and follow behind safely
it depends on how many platelets you have in your body.
