You can use the same amount of oil as mayo.
In place of what? Mayonnaise is just eggs and oil which the mix already has in it. Using mayo instead of milk or water would not give enough liquid and would increase the fat content.
i tryed it tonite . i mixed it with a little water and it turned out just fine not much water though the more water the more it crumbled
ya we can make them without mayo You can use anything you like that tastes good mixed with egg yolks. Some people use sour cream or yogurt. You just need something moist to hold the yolks together in a creamy consistency.

Some foodies speculate that acid in the mayo (vinegar or lemon juice) help to neutralize any salmonella bacteria that may be present in some raw eggs.
You can use mayonaise, eggs, deep conditioning etc. On your hair. The mayo works the best but if you don't wash it ALL the way out them your hair will stink.
