Lake hillier is a pink colored lake on Middle Island, the largest of the recherché Archipelago. From the above the lake appears a solid bubble gum pink. The lake is around 600 meters long and is surrounded of sand and dense woodland of paper bank and eucalyptus. A narrow strip of sand dunes covered by vegetation separate it from the blue surrounded ocean.
