You get a bit more bigger than what you go in with. You mostly get muscle stamina so you do more repititions. you lose pretty much all that extra fat you had. but mostly you gain stamina in every thing from muscle to running. they don't lift weights so you wont come out real bulky. most guys come out a little bit leaner or thiner than when they went in. it also depends on your body mass to. i knew a little guy that was 5'6 155lbs and he pumped out 96 pull ups and most of the big dudes did around 30-40. if you go in heavy, you'll most likely come out with alot of extra weight gone. if you go in all buff from lifting weights, it will be way harder on you. practice pull ups and pushups and run and don't forget sit ups. use your body weight.
It is a pittance, but there are no pogie bait machines to squander it on.
There isn't much of a difference as the Marines are both water and ground based Only major differences are ranks, boot camp is harder in Marines, and Navy is all Sea.
You make about $150 per month in boot camp .
Unfortunately, not much. My college transferred only 3 credits for Marine Corps boot camp.
That depends on several things. First you must be in tremendous physical shape. If you are not, you will go through hell during boot camp and may even wash out. Second, you must be absolutely committed to the Marine Corps, or again, boot camp could overwhelm you. If you are not determined to make through boot camp, and you have any doubts about joining the marines, boot camp will be extremely hard and you won't have anything mental strength to continue. You must absolutely want to become a marine more than anything else in the world. Thirdly, you need to have some intelligence. You can't be a marine without some brain power. Yes, in boot camp, its all "do as your told", but after that, there are marine schools in everything from electronics, finance, human resources, ordinance, computers etc. The marine corps is no place for dummies. Fourthly, you must have a reason to go. Why are you joining the marines? Why not the navy, or the air force. If you can't come up with a good reason to join the marines, you don't belong. Fifthly, you should have a support group back home that wants to see you succeed there. Your parents are the best and you will find that joining the marines is much easier if they support you. Marines is no place to go to "run away from something". and last, find all you can about the marines before you sign up. talk to recruiters, talk to ex marines in your family or neighborhood. go on line and read everything you can. be knowledgeable and you will be better able to answer your own question. A Former Marine
Marines are part of the military, many will argue that the Marines are the best/highest trained military branch in the US military (now im not saying that there arnt special forces for other branchs that arn't better then Marines, all im saying is for basic training i'd have to say that the Marines are the best)
Marine Boot Camp does not cost money. Those that enlist are provided their uniforms, food and shelter as well as their training. They even pay those that are going through boot camp!
For the Navy, at least for the CEC, you'll train with the marines in Pensacola. You won't be able to call home much at all, but it will be the hardest part of your career. After that, life will seem easy.
Boot camp costs between $5000-$10000. This is for a 30 day stay.
A PC is much better than A Mac With Boot Camp because you do not have to run bootcamp.
Your pay rate depends on your rank.
The average price of a MSCE boot camp will depend on exactly how long you are going as well as which company you are going through. Cisco for example costs $7,000 for a 14 day course.
