I would say as much as possible, because every little bit helps. Apart from that, it would depend on their socio-economic status and general surroundings as to what kind of science knowledge and how much they should know of it.
because they shouldnt
You need to include the scientific method ( hypothesis, procedure, etc) you should have background information, graphs, have your observations and a model if possible. Understand what you are talking about. Hope this helps! =)
There is no reason that science should not be compulsory for school. If you are scientifically illiterate you are illiterate.
it should be written as "natural science" because neither the word "natural" nor "science" is a proper noun (ie a name, city, language..)
a procedure should be at least 5-10 steps. according to my science teacher.
As much as he/she is capable of understanding.

From a Christian perspective, the Bible tells WHAT God is and WHAT he does. Science describes HOW God does things.
So you can understand science. Almost every branch of science relies heavily on statistical analysis.
Science is interesting, therefore, if you learn about it, you should be interested by it. Only people who have failed to understand science, usually as a result of a haphazard approach that did not prepare them to understand material in a logical sequence, will then be uninterested in the subject.

Citizens should be able to understand the right and wrong nature has to offer. They should be aware of the limitations it has.
This would depend on the speech he is giving. But it should be noted that "citizen speaker" generally does not mean a president or mayor or governor-- it refers to an ordinary citizen who is advocating for a cause. A responsible citizen speaker's goal is to be fair and accurate in his/her speech, to understand and support the goals of the cause he/she is speaking about, and to provide the listeners with an opportunity for discussion and participation. The responsible citizen speaker represents a particular side of an issue, but does not speak in a biased or inflammatory manner. Instead, this speaker would try to benefit the entire community, by providing the audience with important and accurate information.
It is enough to know science for a man to defend against harsh situation and nothing more then that because if a man has an important thing in the world that is nothing but himself
Citizen's should educate children's about there legal rights. They can teach them to understand and protect their legal rights.
