Park the vehicle on a level surface. Drain the oil and replace the filter. Add 4 quarts of the correct weight oil. Start the engine and run for 1 minute. Shut off and wait 30 minutes. Check the oil level and add as necessary to reach the full mark. You now know the capacity. Warning: Do not overfill.
You will need 5 quarts to change the oil and filter in a Saturn.
3.8litres
need way more information
YES BUT. YOU SHOULD USE THE 1996 CRANKSHAFT AND THE 1996 INTAKE SO YOU NEED TO DISASEMBLE BOTH ENGINE TO DO ONE
If they are both dohc, then yes. If the older motor is a sohc, then you will need to change the wire harness and computer...possibly other components to make it work.
To remove car parts, a person must have the right tools. For a person to remove a starter on a 1996 Saturn they would need a 1/2 inch socket, a 4 inch extension, a wrench, and pliers.Ê
You need a new belt installed. Too much "play" in the current one.
You do not need to change the transmission fluid in the Saturn vue. It is a sealed system and only needs to be replaced when the trans needs rebuilding.
i need to know what wires need to be disconnected to change tail light assembly on a 92 saturn sl See sources and related links below for bulb information.
The Saturn sl2 does not have a timing belt, it has a timing chain. And under most conditions it does not need replacing.
need to change more often
The 1996 Saturn more likely has a blown head gasket. The gaskets will give this problem. If the head is in doubt it can be checked for warpage.
