If it's going to be a split collection (sent to a lab) you need at least 45ML. I do urine collections for drug screening for a living. As long as you have 45 ML's or more and it's between 90 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it'll be OK.
It's up to whomever is distributing the test to determine how much urine is required. Normally this consists of a specimen cup full of urine (normally around 3.5 ounces)
It depends on the test brand, actually. The ones we use requires a few drops.
They can carry out most tests with just a few drops. They ask for a substantial quantity so they can carry out multiple tests.
16 ounces (ozs) is a MEASURE of the weight of something. 16 ozs of lead will weigh exactly 16 ozs. 16 ozs of feathers will weigh exactly 16 ozs. Oh and by the way there are 16 ozs in a pound.
There are 16 ozs in one lb. 16*30= 480 ozs.
2 cups, 3 ozs There is 8 ozs in a cup.
About 6.7 ounces.
So, you have to add 24 ozs to one gallon of water ( which is equal to 128 ozs.) . Since you only have 48 ozs of water, you need to know what percentage you'll have to reduce your other "ingredients". 48 ozs. is 37.5% of 128 so you need to add 37.5% of 24 ozs. to your water. 24 multiplied by .375 equals 9. Add 9 ozs to your 48 ozs of water.
That is 1.764 ounces
75g = 2.646oz
3/4 of a pound.
3.52 ozs or 0.220lbs
That is 1.764 ounces
3 cups and a 1\2
1 cup, I think.
