Reticulated pythons swallow deer that weigh 300 pounds.
Retic pythons prey on other snakes.
a yellow snake
I believe you mean "reticulate" as in say a,"reticulated python"
it depends at the circumstances. NO. It's the opposite. The pythons eat the crocodiles!
If the python was not hungry, but saw the prey as a threat, it would eliminate the threat but not eat it.
fluffy who is in a zoo in Ohio is the longest currently in captivity. A reticulated python at 24' in length.
Yes a reticulated python could easily eat a man. They are known to take down deer. Although a large reticulated python could eat a human I wouldn't say it's "easy" for them. For some reason they have a better time with horns and antlers than shoulders, I'm guessing because they're easier to break down. Snakes have really strong stomach acids.
Yes they could if they really wanted to. there has been cases in other countries where people have been constricted and swallowed. The (Asiatic) Reticulated Python (Python reticulatus) is a member of the Pythonidae family and has and average length of 15ft to 25ft however, it is possible for some to grow near 30ft with a weight of 300lbs; the largest was measured at 33ft; they can be located in Southeast Asia and can be found in the tropical rainforest's, a member of the Boa family the female can have as many as 100 eggs at a time (Average is 60 eggs) and the hatchlings are at least 2 ft (61 cm) length, life span of the python is 25 to 30 years. The diet consists of small mammals and birds, the larger the python the larger the prey which include pigs, dogs, cats and primates, etc., the python ambushes it's prey and suffocates the victim rather then crushing it, after swallowing the prey whole digestion takes many days to several weeks depending on the size of the prey. The record-holding snake was shorter than 25'. There is not a snake alive today that has ever been recorded to reach 30', that is an urban myth that needs to stop being spread around. Reticulated python actually average 10'-15', and 17'+ snakes are very very rare, even in captivity. There are even reticulated python locales that max out at 6'! Not so giant, eh? If you are a grown adult over 5' in height, even the largest of reticulated pythons can't swallow you.
Swallows it whole:)
yes, there are reports that a adult man was found inside a python.

yes =actually no. it is impossible even for the anaconda to eat an adult human. our shoulders cannot fit in their mouth. No, a snake does not eat prey that is alive. A big snake like a reticulated python could eat a human if it was over 20 ft though.
