There is a noise on the top of my 96 S/C buick riviera engine (in the supercharger housing) Sounds to me like bearings? How do Ilubricate S/C? And when do I Change this lubricant?
from underneath the car you can get right to them
Neglect to replace the supercharger oil.
There is no button for the supercharger. The supercharger is always on because it is being driven by the belts of the engine. When you step on the gas, there is a vacuum line that is hooked up to the supercharger in which will close a little valve causing the boost to be diverted into the engine.
The supercharger has no battery.
A 1995 Buick Riviera wiring diagram can be obtained from most Buick dealerships. The wiring diagram can also be found at most auto-parts stores.
At the end of the upper radiator hose is where the thermostat is located as with all cars. It may be difficult to remove due to all this other crap that is in the way.
