more than they do
A Pastor shouldn't cost. He should do the work of God for the love on humanity. A donation would be acceptable but a profiteering pastor is a hypocrite.
Wait for what? To get a new Pastor? We have a guy at our Church who Preaches if our Pastor can't make it to Church or if he passes away
That depends on either how wealthy their patrons are, or how corrupt the pastor is.
First of all in order for a pastor to question your tithes, the Pastor has to know how much you make. If the Pastor thinks that the member is not giving the proper amount in tithes, then the Pastor and the member could sit down together so that the Pastor could explain about Tithing and what percentage should be given to the church and not to the pastor. Also, the Pastor has to take into account that the member could be working on commission or getting social security, unemployment or some other income therefore the tithing amounts could change each time. They can certainly challenge you on your tithe if they feel that's the right thing to do. They cannot do anything about it if you state that you are giving what you feel is right.
the pastor shudnt have a family
If God is calling you to be a pastor, God will make a way for it to happen. Talk to your pastor at your church and have him pray for you, asking God to make it clear, to show you the way.
Anyone can call themselves pastor, but that doesn't make them one.
A good pastor anniversary occasion speech should express gratitude for the pastor's dedication, leadership, and spiritual guidance. It should highlight the pastor's impact on the congregation, share personal anecdotes or stories, and offer well wishes for continued success in ministry. It should be heartfelt, uplifting, and show appreciation for the pastor's service.
no!
Yes, the pastor should sit on the board to bring his working knowledge of the church from his unique perspective to the board. (Used the male pronoun as the Bible does specifically specify that Pastor/Ministers be male.)
That is very much up to your own convictions. AND YOUR PASTORS GIDELINES your pastor is responcable for you and for seting the boundery of things that are acceptable the bible sets the standard and your pastor is free to lead his church as close or far from the line as is nessasarry. My pastor and my convictions say that is wrrong to warre nail polish. i beleve is is jewelry and should not be worn at any time.
Lots of folks, including me, my Pastor, the gov't during WWII, etc. The question should be "who originated it?" (Probably someone's Grandma!)
