How much money ya got?
Seriously, it has more to do with where you live and the local mechanics access to parts and their charge for labor. You can call most garages and ask them for a bid on the job and they will give you a good guess, however beware...once the car is in the shop a lot of mechanics will "find" other issues. Better find a local buddy that knows a bit about cars to be sure that is your real problem.
How do you replace rear shocks on a 2003 altima?
If you replace the manual leveling shocks on the rear with regular shocks you also have to replace the rear coil springs with stiffer ones. Use gm part #15182559 or bilstein part #199021 to replace the coil springs. The coil springs that come with the manual leveling shocks are not stiff enough to use with regular shocks, causing the rear end to droop.
