If the man who started annoying that one soldier didn't annoy him or stopped annoying him it never would have happened. THIS IS ALL THE COLONISTS FAULT!!!!! Actually, that would be the Boston Massacre... As far as the Tea Party goes, Loyalists were pretty much against it. Popular Loyalist opinion was that the Tea Act would actually drive tea prices down and that the Tea Party would only antagonize the Crown. The Boston Massacre was one of many early events that happened in 1770. It was made into a propaganda paper with art by Paul Revere to stir up public opinions. The tea party was a group of smugglers throwing tea into Boston Harbor to protest the lowering of the tea tax making the smuggled Dutch tea higher in cost. It happened in 1773 resulting in the closing of the harbor. There were 3 years difference. They weren’t so much connected, but symbolic of the problems in the colonies and the king.
It was nesscary because the british kept on raising the tax money and New England got tired of paying so much money, so they decided to dump tea in the harbor.
The Boston Tea Party was not actually a party. It was an illegal protest. They went in, did the deed, and left. It is doubtful anyone brought a bagged lunch.
