A Filibuster is term used for an extended debate in the Senate which prevents a vote by wasting time.

The answer is: B: In an impromptu debate, participants have much less time to prepare for the debate than in an extemporaneous debate.
All revenue bills must start in the House of Representatives. Represenatives do not have unlimited time to talk on the floor. They can be over-looked or given a time limit by the rules of the House of the Speaker of the House. Senators have no time limits and may talk indefinately unless there is a cloture vote in which other members of the Senate vote to halt discussions of the current item before the Senate.
The Senate does not have a time limit. The only real time limit for the Senate is that they have to vote on the bill before that Congressional session ends. If the session ends before the bill is sent to the President's desk, for any reason whatsoever (no matter how trivial the reason is), then the bill "dies," and they have to start all over the next January (when the next session begins). This often leads to abuse, which is called a "filibuster," where one Senator who opposes a bill will attempt to just talk endlessly until the bill is withdrawn, or the session ends. To combat a filibuster, 3/5 of the Senate (currently, sixty Senators) can invoke a "cloture," which limits a bill to one hour of debate. This is the only time the Senate has a time limit other than the Congressional session.
The changes occurred through Senate Resolution 15 and Senate ... In the new rules, the amount of time to debate following a motion to ... Additionally, a filibuster on the motion to proceed will be blocked.
It's unlikely there is an alternate channel sometimes when a show it preempted they show it at a later time
The rules of debate are more restrictive in the House of Representatives because there are more members therefore time limits must be imposed to effectively manage and make decisions. If there were no time limits on debates it could bring about a standstill.
Roman women had rights just about equal to men, but they still lived in a male dominated world. For example, a woman could not vote or run for public office. A woman, although she had the right to divorce, still had to have a male relative or guardian make the arrangements. A woman could only inherit a minimal amount from her husband or father. A woman could not join the army. Despite these restrictions, the Roman women had more equality with men than many of their ancient counterparts.
